The Culture Of Sport
In this episode of "A Pane In The Glass Podcast" I take a look at one of the most often used terms in sport but one that is frequently misunderstood or perhaps misused. Culture is the system of beliefs, mores and expectations by the members of a group embodied in a code of conduct/ethics over and above the group's established rules & regulations. The most interesting aspect of the culture of sport is that it can and almost always does change from sport to sport. The same individual might act and react quite differently while participating in one sport as opposed to another. Why is that and can the culture of a sport be altered? Those are two aspects I'll talk about in this episode!
