A Pane in the Glass Podcast
Summer Curling Camps (and more)
In this episode of "A Pane In The Glass Podcast" my friend Sean Turriff and I talk about summer curling camps. What? Summer curling camps at the beginning of February? As you'll learn from Sean, they are not only valuable for young (and older) curlers but very popular as well. Many of the camps fill quickly so even though there may be snow on the ground where you are, now is the time to find a camp and enrol in it. But, as the title suggests, there's more to this episode.
Following our banter about summer curling camps and after I had hit "stop record", as coaches do, we morphed into a coaching discussion, this time about the value a coach can add to the over all performance of his/her team. Sean surprisingly discovered in a conversation with one of his athletes that ... well, you'll have to listen to find out what Sean heard and why he wanted to talk about it. I felt the exchange between us was worthy of hitting the "record" button again.
